Clement "Frosty" Carlos Flick

Mr. Clement “Frosty” Carlos Flick age 75 of Laurinburg, NC passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023.

Born on June 9, 1948 in Palo Alto, California, he was the loving son of the late Clement Crysostem Flick and the late Emily Jacqueline Nelson Flick. Frosty as he was lovingly known was a graduate of Kinnelon High School in Kinnelon, New Jersey. He worked for Owens Illinois in Hamlet, NC from 1984-1986 before becoming a mechanic with Abbott Laboratories until their closure. He then pursued a career as a Locksmith owning and operating his own business, Frosty’s Locksmith Service. He was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church of the Living Word where he served where needed. Frosty will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Desales Flick.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 54 years, Ruth Sweeney Flick of the home; sons, Brian Flick and wife, Jeannie, David Flick and fiancé, Amanda Myers; grandchildren, Phillip Flick and Hannah Flick; special niece, Brandee Beran; along with many loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the Lutheran Church of the Living Word with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
