Claudale “Dale” Bennett Driggers was the daughter of Hattie Gibson Calhoun and the late Claude Henry Bennett born December 4, 1962 in Scotland County. Dale was an encouragement to many who dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family and others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. One of her favorite hobbies was making arts and crafts. She loved attending and serving at Vineyard for Life Ministries. Dale’s happiest times were those shared with her family, especially with Johnnie 5. She will be remembered as a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She passed to her Heavenly home at the age of 58 on May 29, 2021.
Along with her father, Dale is preceded in death by her brothers, Claude Bennett and Michael W. Bennett.
She leaves behind her husband, Johnnie “Moe” Driggers of the home; sons, Johnnie “Munch” Driggers IV (Kristy) of Laurinburg, and Joseph “Joe” Robert Driggers of Laurinburg; her mother, Hattie Calhoun (James) of Conway, SC; and her adoring grandson, Johnnie “Johnnie 5” Driggers V. She is also survived by a host of loving family and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dean Lucas. Burial will follow the service in Pinecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
