Christian Keith Buffkin

Christian Keith Buffkin was born June 17, 1991 in Charlotte, North Carolina, a loving son of Charles Leon Buffkin and Patti Holshouser Buffkin.  He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina Pembroke and an Associate Degree in Electric Utility Substation and Relay Technology from Richmond Community College. He loved his work as a Relay Technician with Power Grid Engineering, LLC.  Christian worked hard, had expensive taste and enjoyed spending his money.  Many of his outdoor hobbies included, golfing, fishing, hunting and riding his motor cycle.  He also enjoyed shooting pool with his Dad and brother, Hayden.  He had an amazing giving heart and the love of family was most important to Christian.  He loved sharing time with his entire family, especially with son, Grayson and nephew, Jackson.   Christian will forever be cherished as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend.  He passed away at the age of 28 on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

In addition to his parents, Charles and Patti; Christian is survived by his son, Grayson Ray Phillips-Buffkin; sisters, Sandra Kay Buffkin, Tiffany Kayla Buffkin and brother, Hayden Charles Buffkin; grandmother, Jacqueline Elizabeth Holshouser; special nephew, Jackson Vince Buffkin along with a host of loving family and many friends.

A time of viewing will be from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service.   A private memorial service to will be at a later date.

In memory of Christian, the family requests for memorial donations to be given towards a scholarship college fund for his son, Grayson Phillips-Buffkin, 998 Southpark Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC  29577.
