Charles "Randy" Pettitt

Charles “Randy” Pettitt, age 60 of Rockingham, NC passed away on June 11, 2026.

He was the loving son of the late Charles Francis Pettitt and the late Fannie Mae Bass Pettitt, born April 26, 1966 in Moore County, North Carolina. Randy was a talented brick mason working in the construction industry for many dedicated years. He was well known as a jokester who loved to make others laugh. Randy enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, and especially spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Terry Pettitt and Rodney Pettitt.

Randy is survived by son, Andrew Pettitt of Vass; daughters, Whitney Pettitt of Seattle, WA and Kimberly “Sissy” Pettitt of Vass; brothers, Gerald Pettitt (Terri Lynn) and Mickey Pettitt both of Hoffman; sisters, Ann T. Addor (Andy) of Southern Pines, Betty Jo Baker Wendell of Aberdeen, Shirley Collins (Keith) of West End, Lynn Nance of Hoffman; and one precious grandchild; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel followed by burial in the Ghio Holiness Church Cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will be held Saturday, June 13th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
