Charles "Anthony" Locklear

Charles “Anthony” Locklear of Laurinburg, NC was born November 27, 1969 in Scotland County, NC and passed away at the age 55 of January 2, 2025.

Preceding him in death are siblings, Paul and Paula Locklear.

Anthony is survived by his son, Justin Causey and fiancé Haley Brogden of Mt. Olive, NC; parents, Charles David Locklear and Inez Snuggs Locklear of Mooresville, NC; brothers, John Winston Locklear II and fiancé, Sabrina of Laurinburg, NC, and Kelvin Wade Locklear and wife, April of Mooresville, NC; along with a host of loving family and friends.

Anthony loved his career in farming, being outdoors on the farm, driving his tractor and caring for the cows and donkeys.  Anthony was also known for his loved of fast cars, especially his Mustang, and being involved with drag racing.  His greatest joy came from sharing time with family and devoted friends.  He will truly be missed by those who loved and knew him.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.   

Visitation will be prior to services on Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
