Chadwyn "Chad" Hunter Jacobs

Chadwyn “Chad” Hunter Jacobs, age 23 of Laurinburg passed away from a courageous battle with cancer on June 2, 2020.

Chad was born January 22, 1997 in Scotland County, son of Jerry Wayne Jacobs and Ann Marie Faulk Jacobs. He attended Northview Harvest Ministries and was an avid reader. He worked alongside his father in the family business. Chad loved sports, he was a talented baseball player, enjoyed shooting, axe throwing and traveling fast. His favorite pastime was being outdoors and camping on the river with his family. Chad was a brave young man with a kind and funny spirit who will be missed by everyone he touched during his lifetime.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Harold Elwood Faulk.  

Chad leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Jerry and Ann Marie of the home; brothers, Jeremy Mitchell Jacobs, Jared Raylon Jacobs (Ashley), Jonathan Drake Jacobs and sister, Elliana Marie Jacobs, all of Laurinburg; grandparents, Betty Lamb Faulk, Peggy Jacobs both of Laurinburg, and Herman Locklear of McColl, SC; three nephews, along with many his extended family and many loving friends.

Funeral services for family will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Northview Harvest Ministries, with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park. A time of viewing will be on Saturday prior to the service from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at Northview Harvest Ministries.

Due to COVID-19 mandates, to ensure public safety attendance will be limited.
