Chad Allen Berry, Sr. was born January 31, 1985 in Moore County, son of Jimmie Berry and Patricia Ann Moser. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Bridge Construction. Chad was an outgoing person who loved entertaining others, especially telling his many stories. He also enjoyed fishing, but most loved spending time with his family and friends. Chad will truly be missed by all who knew him as a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He passed away at the age of 37 on June 13, 2022.
Chad is survived by his wife, Stephanie Berry of the home; sons, Chad A. “C.J.” Berry, Jr. of the home, Jacob Norris of Laurinburg; daughter, Madison Norris of the home; father, Jimmie Berry (Esta) of Pinehurst; mother, Patricia Ann Moser (Robert) of Laurinburg; brother, Steve Adams (Teresa) of Niceville, FLA; sisters, Melissa Ann Wilson (Trip) of Laurinburg, Saundra Golden of Lilesville; nieces and nephews, Haley Blackburn, Brody Wilson, Dalyn Locklear; great niece, Aniyah Bullard; three special friends, Travis Locklear, David Locklear, James Paul Davis, Sr., along with many loving extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
