Ceairra Cheyenne "CeCe" Lowery

Ceairra Cheyenne “CeCe” Lowery of Maxton departed this life at the age of 30 on Friday, November 7, 2025.

Born in Scotland County, North Carolina on August 19, 1995, she was the daughter of Tracy Frankie Lowery and Windy Lowery.  CeCe adored her son and was a loving homemaker who also enjoyed sharing time with family and friends.  She had an outgoing personality who also enjoyed spending her time shopping.  CeCe will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Brooks;  grandparents, Edna Cummings, Tracy Lowery, Michael Cummings, and David McGill.

CeCe is survived by her son, Malakiah Kane McDonald; father, Tracy Frankie Lowery and stepmother, Windy Lowery of Maxton; brothers, Cody Mishue, Gary Locklear; sisters, Whitney Lowery, Danielle Locklear, Cassie Locklear; and grandmothers, Vicky McGill and Alberta Brooks; along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the Lowery Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday from 1:30 p.m. until 3: 00 p.m. at the funeral home.
