Catherine Ann Seagraves Willis

Catherine Ann Willis, age 71 of Laurinburg passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026.

She was born July 28, 1954 in Scotland County, NC, loving daughter of the late Vernon Garrett Seagraves and the late Mildred Haywood Seagraves. Catherine loved to attend and worship at Wagram Church of God. She enjoyed creating a warm and inviting home for her family where they shared many wonderful memories. Catherine will be dearly missed and remembered for her love and devotion to her family and her beloved cats.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Barry Willis; granddaughter, Christian Nicole Russell; brother, Vernon Garrett Quick; and sister, Brenda Mariano.

Left to rejoice in her memory is son, James Arnold Seals, Jr. (Lisa); daughter, Mary Katherine Locklear (Donald Sr.); sister, Janice Haywood; grandchildren, Donald Locklear, Jr., (Taylor), Brittany Locklear (Michael), James Seals, III, Wendy Sierra Seals, Chenoa Seals, Robby Strickland; and great-grandchildren, Destiny Bartley, Kash Locklear, and Paislee Locklear; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.  

A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
