Mrs. Carrie Clark Bryant of Laurinburg, passed away at the age of 90 on April 8, 2025.
She was born July 22, 1934 in Dunbar, South Carolina, daughter of the late George and Lela Lowery Clark. Carrie was the adored wife of the late Roy Lee Bryant, whom she loved to fuss with on a daily basis until his passing in 2020. Along with being a homemaker, she was a fifteen-year employee with Eaton Corporation until retiring. Carrie enjoyed cooking a delicious meal, made the best tasting biscuits, and loved quiet moments swinging or sitting on the porch. She also enjoyed sewing, tending to her house plants, and visits to the flea markets. Carrie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by daughters, Stephanie Rodgers and Donna Head; brother, George C. “Buddy” Clark, Jr.; and sisters, Ella Mae Polston and Mattie Polk.
Carrie is survived by her daughter, Windie Bryant Clark of McColl, SC; sister, Elma Taylor of Clio, SC; grandchildren, Chasity Lynn Dew (Cole), Rickey Allen Clark, Jr., Troy Lee Clark, Colin Rodgers (Mandy); great-grandchildren, Alayla, Bubba, Aiden, Kinsley, Royce; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Services will be held at Graveside 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025 in Laurinburg Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
