Carolyn Britt Faulk of Laurinburg, NC departed this life at the age of 79 on September 19, 2023.
She was the loving daughter of the late Robert Lee Britt and the late Clara Barnes Britt, born August 6, 1944 in Robeson County, NC. Carolyn was a member of the Laurinburg First Baptist Church and served in the Women’s Missionary Union. She worked many devoted years as an Administrative Assistant with the Scotland County Sheriff’s Department, then ending her career with St. Andrews Presbyterian College. Carolyn enjoyed shopping, sewing, knitting, and especially daily devotional time reading her Bible. She loved being outdoors whether fishing, tending to her plants, or looking for seashells on the beach. Carolyn’s greatest treasure was spending time with her family and the memories they shared. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Carolyn will dearly be missed.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, Tristam Stebbin “TS” McLellan, Jr., and Charles Linwood Faulk, Sr.; sons, Tristam Stebbin McLellan III, and Christopher James McLellan; and her brother-in-law, Robert Inman.
Carolyn is survived by son, Charles Linwood Faulk, Jr., of Fayetteville; daughters, Jackie M. Thomas (Jeff) of Sanford, and Tracy M. Duffy (David) of Florence, SC; sister, Linda B. Inman of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Justin Thomas, Darrian Thomas Camacho, and Dava Thomas, Tristan Duffy and Allen Duffy, Danica Faulk and Emersen Faulk; great-grandchildren, Carter Camacho, Hadley Camacho, Klaus Camacho, and Posie Camacho, Baker Duffy, Lacey Duffy, and Essie Duffy; along with a host of loving family and friends.
The family will have a time of visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.
A private graveside interment service will be at a later date.
