Carolyn Faye Carroll

Carolyn Faye Stone Carroll, age 78 of Laurinburg passed away Monday, December 31, 2018.

Carolyn was born September 17, 1940 in Dillon County, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Earl Stone and Thelma Louise Herring Callahan. She was the wife of the late Donald Ray Carroll. She worked several years as an administrative assistant in business. She liked to cook and enjoyed watching cooking shows whenever she had the chance. In her leisure time she enjoyed going to the beach and listening to music. Carolyn loved to spend time with her family, especially the times she could spend with her granddaughter Chyenne.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Stone.

She is survived by her sons, Ron Carroll of Booton, NJ, Tim Carroll (Maria) of Warren, NJ; daughter, Terry Carroll of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Chyenne Carroll, Giorgia Carroll, Michael Carroll, Matthew Carroll and a host of family and friends.

The family requests memorial donations be given to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Department 41831, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
