Bruce Ferguson Lawrie, age 76 of Scotia Village passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019.

He was born May 20, 1942 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, a son of the late James Ferguson Lawrie and Alice Mildred Dyer Lawrie. He retired after many years of service as a Civilian Personnel Manager Specialist for the Department of Army. He was a participant with the Scotland County Senior Games and the Presbyterian Senior Games. Bruce loved living a healthy life style, working out and playing golf.

He leaves behind his wife, Diana Looker Lawrie of their home in Laurinburg; his son, Gordan B. Lawrie and wife Michelle of Carson City, NV; brother, Douglas “Doug” J. and wife Mary Lawrie of Vass, NC
