Brenda Justice Scott

Brenda Justice Scott was the loving daughter of the late Jack Justice and Mattie English Justice born May 19, 1945.   She was a devoted homemaker and loving wife to the late Fredrick Nelson Scott.   She retired after many years of service from the L.O.F Pilkington Glass Company where she was lovingly call “Bubblegum”.  Brenda attended the Salem Emmanuel Holiness Church, and enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and dancing.  She most enjoyed her time with family.  Brenda passed away at the age of 75 on July 29, 2020.

Along with parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Justice and a step grandson, Richard David Johnson, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Regina Johnson and husband Richard D. Johnson, Sr. of Florence, SC, and step son, Bard Nelson Scott of Burton, MI; two grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Laurinburg Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends prior to services Saturday from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m.
