Brenda Lemonds Grant

Brenda Lemonds Grant, age 58 of Laurinburg, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

Brenda was born July 8, 1962 in York, South Carolina, daughter of the late Fred Donald Lemonds and Mary Joe Hancock.   She spent her adult life as a submaker at Subway and co-owner of Bob’s Taxi with her husband.  She will be remembered as a great wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved spending time with family and will be missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Grant of Laurinburg; son Ronnie Joe Hugh Boone of Asheboro; daughters, Ruth Annette Boone-Gould of Eagle Springs, Lori Ann Freeman of Asheboro, Orgerie Godwin of Laurinburg, Sheila Tsalamandris of Laurinburg, Christy Jacobs of Hamlet; brothers, Jerry Hancock of Florida, James Hancock of Troy; sisters Donna Lemonds of Biscoe, Mary Hamilton of Troy; grandchildren, Jasmine Gager, Micheal Lester, Michael Hart, Mason Freeman and her step grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Gibson, NC.
