Billie "Bud" Paul Jackson

Billie “Bud” Paul Jackson age 79 of Laurinburg, NC passed away on August 4, 2026.

He was born May 31, 1947 in Robeson County, NC, son of the late Claude Guy Jackson and the late Elizabeth “Lizzie” Paul Jackson.  Bud worked in the furniture business for many years until retiring. He enjoyed a good game of cards, billiards, and especially checkers. Above all he loved time spent with family. Bud will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Delton Jackson, Allen Thomas Jackson, John Wade Jackson, Thad Jackson, Mary Kate Jackson Hewett, and Beatrice “Bea” Jackson Calder.

Bud is survived by his loving extended family and many friends.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in the McGirt Family Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Sunday beginning 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
