Beverly Ann Huggins Troublefield, only child of the late Roy Lee Huggins and Sara Sessoms Huggins was born January 15, 1948 in Bennettsville, SC. She was a devoted mother and the loving wife to the late Rev. Frank “Papa Bear” Troublefield. Along with being a homemaker, Beverly worked many years with the North Carolina Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer. She formerly served as a faithful member of the East Laurinburg Baptist Church. Beverly loved singing and enjoyed sharing the gospel through song with other gospel groups. She also enjoyed fishing, reading and completing word puzzles. She most loved her time shared with her family. Beverly passed away at the age of 73 on August 29, 2021.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Graysn Robinson.
Beverly leaves behind her children, daughter, Dianne Wheeler of the home in Ellerbe, NC; sons, Scotty Stalsby (Kelly) and Randy Stalsby both of Louisiana; grandchildren, Cody Lanier, Amy Lanier, Tara Lanier, Kora Stalsby, Maci Stalsby, Mallie Stalsby, Chelsea Knox, Trenton Stalsby; six great grandchildren, especially Natalie Robinson, Nathan McBride and twin great grand boys on the way. She is also survived by a special cousin she loved as a sister, Linda Dunn.
