Betty Byrd

Betty Ruth Byrd, age 40 of Laurinburg, North Carolina passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021. 

Betty was born on September 12, 1980 to the late James Hutchinson and Marilyn Poole Hutchinson in Scotland County on September 12, 1980.   She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, walking, music and spending time outdoors.    She was employed by Nic’s Pic Kwik as a cook which is another one of her favorite activities. 

Betty is survived by her husband Jason Boyd Byrd; sons, Brad McPherson and Noah Jernigan; daughter, Cheyann Jernigan; brothers, Arnold “Daniel” Hutchinson (Megan) of Whiteville, NC, Gary Hutchinson (Jasmine Henry) of Laurinburg, John Hutchinson (Heather Hines) of Laurinburg; Nephews & Nieces, Zikiem Lane, Matthew Hutchinson, Alex Hutchinson, Dakota Hutchinson, Nitena Williams, Lilla Hutchinson, Mazi Henry and Della-Marie Henry. 

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 5:00 pm at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.
