Ben Martin Holcomb, Jr.

Ben Martin Holcomb, Jr., of Laurinburg, NC passed away on March 26, 2026 at the age of 78.   Ben was born in Scotland County, NC on June 28, 1947.  He was a loving son of the late Ben M. Holcomb and the late Ruth Smith Holcomb.  Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Robert “Bobby” Holcomb, and nephew, Billy Stevens.

Ben had a long career in the textile industry until his retirement.  In his leisure time, he loved riding his motorcycle, fishing and spending time at the beach.

Left to cherish his memory are sisters, Dorothy L. Hebbert (Don) of Charlotte, NC, Judy Holcomb Lockey of Laurinburg, NC, and JoAnn Holcomb Gentry (Woody) of Maxton, NC; loving nieces, April Gentry McLean, Little River, SC, Sunny Gentry Petty of Wendell, NC; loving nephews, Timmy Stevens of Boone, NC, Robert “Pokey” Holcomb of Laurinburg, NC, Jamie Lockey of Maxton; great nieces, Brooklyn Petty, and great nephew, Lucia’s Petty.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
