Barbara Ann Hunt

Barbara Ann Norris Hunt of Laurinburg passed away at the age of 80 on June 17, 2022.

Barbara was born May 16, 1942, the loving daughter of the late Earl and Gertha Norris of Columbus County, North Carolina.  She was a devoted homemaker and enjoyed her work in film processing for Color Craft Corporation.  Barbara cherished her time spent with family, especially with grandchildren.  She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, card games and especially traveling to the beach.  Her kind and loving spirit will be dearly missed by so many.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Doc Norris, Edward Norris and sister, Hazel Norris.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Kay Anthony “Tony” Hunt of their home; son, Paul Anthony “Tony” Ross (Cindy) of Cherryville, NC; daughters, Cynthia Ann Wilson of Newton and Crystal Kay Hunt of Laurinburg; her adoring grandchildren, Madison Wilson, Donavon Albert Connor, Kayanna Connor, Mylee Connor, Raynie Connor, Patrick Beaver, along with a host of loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.   Family will have a time of visitation prior to services on Tuesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the chapel.
