Anna Cribb Bridges was a loving daughter of the late Artis Cribb and Lucille Jones Cribb born August 28, 1940 in Pinehurst, North Carolina. She was known by her loved ones and friends as “Billie” who was a precious and loving mother, grandmother and sister. Along with being a homemaker, she enjoyed her work in retail retiring after many years from the Laurinburg Department Store. She served as a member of the East Laurinburg Church of God. Billie’s greatest joy was sharing time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She entered her Heavenly home at the age of 81 on May 18, 2022. She will be dearly missed by many.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Frances Cribb Benton.
Billie leaves behind her children, son, Phillip Green (Bonnie) of McColl, SC; daughters, Harriet Fournier of Hamlet, Diana Perdue (Mike) of Hamlet, Doris Clark of Maxton; sister, Margaret C. Williams of Laurinburg; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; along with her nieces, nephews and extended loving family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. Harry Clark. Burial will follow the service in Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
