Ann Pate Hunt

Ann Pate Hunt, age 66 of Laurinburg passed away peacefully to her Heavenly home Thursday, January 7, 2021.

Ann, loving daughter of the late Lonnie Pate, Sr. and Betty Herring Pate, was born November 6, 1954 in Robeson County. She attended New Life Church, loved to read her Bible, enjoyed cooking, and watching television. Ann was a dedicated homemaker who loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Charles Bledsoe; daughter, Donna Caulder and her siblings, Sally Clark, Lonnie Pate, Jr., Everette Pate, J W Pate, Art Pate, Bobby Joe Pate, Sr., Will Pate and Betty Quick.

Ann is survived by her husband of 30 years, Willie Hunt, Jr. of the home; sons, Chris Bledsoe (Autumn) of Middlesex, NC, Earl Tennison of Charleston, SC; daughter, Lisa Smith (Jerry) of Laurinburg; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 at Crossway Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Nathan Locklear and Rev. Casey Welker. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the church. COVID restrictions require facial masks with social distancing and limited attendance for all services.
