Andrew "Andy" Ingram Obituary

Our Dad, Andrew “Andy" Owen Ingram, 65, passed away on March 30, 2024.

Andy was born on December 18, 1958, in Laurinburg, NC, to James “Jim” Hampton Ingram, Sr. and Eleanor Reagan Ingram Middleton. He was blessed with four wonderful siblings, the late Jamie Ingram, Les Ingram (Patti), Michael Ingram, Ayn Muse Middleton, and his bonus sister-in-love Crystal Billingsley. Andy is survived by his two children, Andrew “Drew" Owen Ingram Jr. (Sara) and Sara Elizabeth (Ingram) Early (Dawson), whom he shares with Leigh League. He also has four wonderful grandchildren, Samuel Ford Early (5), Eloise Elizabeth Early (2), Everette “Evie" Rose Ingram (4), and Elliott “Ellie" Lane Ingram (2). He spent the last part of his life with a wonderfully sweet partner, Carolyn McLean, who made him extraordinarily happy. He is survived by many amazing and loving nieces, nephews, and cousins from the Raleigh area.

Andy was funny, quick-witted, extremely smart, and talented. He was a successful entrepreneur, with random hidden talents. He was shockingly good at making artisan soap when his children were young. He had a very convincing Donald Duck voice and could make a mean meringue. He knew a lot about a lot of things. He remembered all the important dates in his and his family’s lives, he could probably tell you the weather and what you were wearing that day, too. He never failed to send cards or flowers on birthdays and special holidays. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Laurinburg since birth.

Andy loved his late dogs, Gigi and Zoey. He thoroughly enjoyed volunteering and acting at the Raleigh Little Theater. He loved his family and his friends and made sure they all knew it.

Our family invites you to a memorial on Saturday, April 6th at 2:00pm at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.

In lieu of, flowers, a donation to the Raleigh Little Theater would be wonderful. https://raleighlittletheatre.my.salesforce-sites.com/donate/?dfId=a113o00000xUK7wAAG&
