Alice Faye (Neal) Boone

Alice Faye Neal Boone, age 67 of Laurinburg passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

Alice was a loving daughter of the late Prince A. and Eva Gibson Neal born March 14, 1952 in Scotland County.  She dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family as a homemaker.   She had a special talent for repairing appliances, especially VCR’s, televisions and washing machines.   Before her illness, she served as a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church.  She was a dedicated soul winner for Christ and loved caring and teaching her church kindergarten class.   Her passion was art, a talented oil painter and she loved to draw.  Alice will be remembered by her family as a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Bill Gibson, Frankie Neal, Prince Neal, Jr., and sister, Mary Hatcher.

Alice is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edgar “Ed” Alan Boone of the home; sons, Christopher Alan Boone (Annette) of Greer, SC, and Chad Edgar Boone (Emily) of Laurinburg; her daughter, Martha “Martie” Lucinda Boone Moore (Chann) of Greer, SC; brothers, James Neal (Karen) of Columbia, SC, Tracy Gibson (Betty) of Laurinburg; sister-in-law, Patsy Neal of Laurinburg; mother-in-law, Martha Boone of Laurinburg; her adoring grandchildren, Brittiany Nicole Price, Stephan Alan Boone, Adam Spencer Hine, Jamie Lynn Boone, Raven Pagie Boone, Channing Wolfgang Moore, Ian Henderson and great grandchildren, Laiya Burris, Oakley Boone, Ellie Boone, Scarlett Moore, Luke Burris, Katey Hine along with many loving nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Pastor Miguel Acosta.   The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  A private interment will be held at a later date.
