William "Bill" Eugene Kessler

William “Bill” Eugene Kessler, age 56 of Laurel Hill passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019.

Bill, son of the late Robert Lee Kessler and Mary Waite Kessler was born October 6, 1962 in Scotland County. He was a Veteran who proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed working as a Locksmith with Security Lock and Hardware, attended Multitudes Church as well as New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church. In his leisure time, Bill enjoyed fishing, watching the History Channel and most of all, spending time with his family.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Miriam Louise Kessler.

Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Kessler and step sons, Chandler Blue, Ade Horne, all of Laurinburg; sisters, Delores K. Locklear of Maxton, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Oxendine of Laurinburg, Georgia Lynn Kessler of Wagram, Nola Denise Goins of  McColl; special cousin, Lisa Oxendine of the home, along with many friends.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday beginning at 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A private interment will be at a later date.
