Stephen "Steve" Moraida

Stephen “Steve” Moraida was born August 27, 1956 in Granada, Texas to his loving parents, the late Timothy Ortiz Moraida and Margaret Susie Denson Moraida.  He was a graduate of Scotland High School and retired after 32 years of service from Haney’s Tire and Recapping Service.  His greatest joy was sharing time with his family and friends.  Steve passed away at the age of 62 on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Darryl Murray.

Steve leaves behind his life partner of 40 years, Perky Moraida and their children, Timothy R. Moraida of the home, Angela Moraida of Laurinburg and Jenny Moraida of Hamlet; his sister, Debby Murray; six grandchildren, Cameron Lowery, Braxten Hewett, Harleigh McKenzie, Leon Moraida, Stevey Moraida, Remmey McKenzie and nephews, Ryan Murray, Aaron Murray along with a host of loving family and friends.

The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, March 8, 2019 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.  No other services are planned at this time.
