Sheila Clark Strickland

Sheila Clark Strickland, age 62 of Laurinburg passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018.

Sheila was born April 1, 1956 in Scotland County, the loving daughter of the late James Beverly Clark and Mary Hazel Johnson Clark.  She worked in textiles with Charles Craft.  She enjoyed reading, making crafts and shopping.  Her greatest joy was sharing time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Strickland; son, Richard “Todd” Strickland and daughter, Beverley “Nikki” Strickland of Laurinburg; her brother, James “Jimmy” Clark (Jennie) of Laurinburg and grandchildren, Addison Strickland, Aubrey Strickland, Jerrin Strickland, Rylan Strickland and Brylan Strickland.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel officiated by Rev. James McLean.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   A private interment will be held at a later date in Hillside Cemetery.
