Sally Mae Locklear English

Sally Mae Locklear English, age 75 of Laurinburg passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at White's Creek Free Will Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.  Services will be officiated by Rev. Richard Tyson.

Sally, a loving daughter of the late Wade Joseph Locklear and Bertha Jeffery Locklear was born December 31, 1942 in Marlboro County, South Carolina.  She retired after many years of service from Abbott Laboratories.  She enjoyed attending White Creek Baptist Church.  She was everybody’s Granny and loved cooking for her family and friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Judy Smith and Shirley Desmond.

Sally leaves behind her husband, Tommy English of the home and daughters, Carolyn English (Andrew Smith) and Gail Dilling (Alan) of Laurinburg ; her grandchildren, Brandi Dilling (James Hinson) and Calynn Marsh (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Bryson Dilling and Braydon Dilling; sisters, Lucy Beauchamp (Floyd) and Patricia Small both of Gibson, Joyce Locklear of Laurinburg, Valerie Cayton (Rick) of Laurel Hill and her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
