Karen Wagner Wensil, age 69 of Laurel Hill passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019.
Karen was born September 30, 1949 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late James Ray Wagner and Helen Lou Stinchomb Wagner. She retired after fifteen years of service as a school bus driver for Moore County Schools and was a long time member of Cameron Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crocheting and going to yard sales. The greatest joy in her life was spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karen’s family will always remember her as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant sister, Pamela Wagner.
Karen leaves behind her husband, Charlie Ervin Wensil of the home; sons, David McFarland (Wendy) of Leland, James Roth (Staci) of Thomasville; daughters, Allison Boyd of Laurinburg, Tracy Blake (Wayne) of West End, Penny Swink (Brad) of China Grove; sisters, Stephanie Petty (Al) of Huntley, IL, Jennifer Sprague (DJ) of Urbana, OH; grandchildren, Mikey McFarland, Ashlynn Jack, Christopher Roth, Ceanna Roth, Dylan Blake, Dustin Roth, Kendall Blake, Trevor Boyd, Kelsie Blake, Autumn Roth, Brandon Swink; great grandchildren, Abel Jack, Ambria Kienzle, JoJo Kienzle; her nieces, Tiffany and Courtney; nephew, Jeff; special friends, Connie Harris, Ellen Gilmore, Cosandra Scott, Bernice Johnston; along with many other friends.
The family will have a celebration of her life closer to her birthday later this month.
