Joseph Lee Wilkins

Joseph Lee Wilkins, age 59 of Bennettsville passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

Joseph was born July 1, 1960 in Scotland County, a son of the late Edward Eugene Wilkins and Louise Seagraves Wilkins. For many years he was a truck driver with Delco Transportation. He enjoyed Bluegrass music, motorcycles, muscle cars and traveling. Going to White Lake and cookouts with his family were some of his best times. Joseph’s greatest joy was spending time with his daughter, Ashley.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Wilkins of Laurel Hill; brothers, Edward Wilkins of Lancaster, SC, Darrell Wilkins of Gibson; sisters, Mary Ann Chavis of Gibson, Irene Jernigan of Laurel Hill, Geraldine Sessoms of Hamlet, along with a host of extended family and friends.

There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 2:00 until 3:30p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Huckabee Grove Emanuel Holiness Church in Laurel Hill. Memorial Service will begin at 3:30 p.m. following the visitation.
