Jesse Wayne Goins

Jesse Wayne Goins, age 69 of Laurinburg passed away Monday, July 22, 2019.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service with burial following in Hillside Memorial Park.

Jesse, a son of the late Rufus Goins and Beulah Bell Clark Goins was born May 4, 1950 in Robeson County. He retired after many years from US Packaging Industries. In his leisure, he enjoyed weight lifting, body building and watching baseball. Jesse loved his family and spending time with them brought him great joy.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, George Thomas Goins, Chris Goins and sisters, Alice Goins, Kathy Goins and a great grandchild, Jakoma Allen Bowen.

Jesse leaves behind his sons, Jesse O’Dell “Dell” Goins (Nikki) of Rockingham, Joseph “Shawn” Goins (Diana) of New Jersey, Wayne Goins (Makesha) of Pembroke, Derrick Goins (Eugenia) of Lumberton and daughter, Carolyn Goins (Greg Morton) of Pembroke; wife, Melissa Ann Goins of Pembroke; brothers, Rufus O’Dell Goins of Laurinburg, Andy Goins of Asheville; thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26th at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
