James "Wayne" Dameron

James “Wayne” Dameron, age 51 of Laurinburg passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019.

Wayne was born January 1, 1968 in New Castle County, Delaware, son of Patsy Stout Dameron Bailey and the late James Ira Dameron. He was a veteran who proudly served in the United States Army. He worked many years in the textile industry and in his leisure time he enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Wayne is survived by his mother, Patsy Bailey of the home; brother, Mark Dameron of Laurinburg and nephew Brandon Dameron, along with many friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Rick Brewer. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home
