Helen Ann Hunt was born November 18, 1961 in Dillon County, South Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Willie Forester Hunt and Eula Oxendine Hunt. She was a hard worker and loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed baseball and fishing. Helen passed away at the age of 57 on Thursday, April 25, 2019.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Joseph Hunt and Frankie "Rabbit" Hunt; sisters, Patricia Locklear and Sarah E. Hunt.
Helen leaves behind her husband, Billy Dean Locklear, daughter, Shalasha Hunt and son, Billy Dean Locklear, Jr., and grandson, Ayden Dean Hunt all of the home in Rowland; daughter, Anna Cummings (Fred) and grandchildren, Destiny and Desirae Cummings all of Maxton; her brothers, Ricky Hunt, Jeffery Hunt, both of Maxton and sisters, Joyce Tyner (David) of Maxton, Pricilla Hunt of Rowland, Stephanie Locklear (Robert) of Maxton, Teresa Hunt of Pembroke, and Felicia Locklear (Micheal) along with many nieces, nephews, a host of loving family and friends including her special friend, Hattie Mae Locklear.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Gospel Tabernacle Church with burial following in the Hunt Family Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service on Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the church.
