Harry Seibert Obituary

Harry Sylvester Seibert, Jr., age 86 of Laurinburg passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018.

Harry was born January 15, 1932 to the late Harry Sylvester Seibert, Sr., and Olga Martin Seibert.  He retired after 50 years of service with Pilkington as a maintenance superintendent.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Maxton and loved playing golf, working in his yard, cooking and entertaining.   He truly cherished time spent with family and friends.

Harry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Charleen Joseph Seibert of their home; children, James Vincent Seibert, Harry Timothy Seibert, Laurie Oppenlander, Julie Donohue, Denise Moret, Lisa Speros and Natalie Smith; brother, Owen Seibert; sisters, Joan Doggi and Joyce Timmons; twenty grandchildren, Tara, Elyse, Rhiannon, Frank, Dominic, Luka, Ailish, Jill, Mike, Eric, Andrea, Aaron, Adam, Luke, Brigette, Zach, Shannon, Blake, Madison, McKenzie and nine great grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler, Caysen, Pepper, Liam, Evangoline, Payton, Maddox, Harper and a host of loving family and friends.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church or Maxton officiated by Dr. Robert Dendy.  The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.   A private interment will be at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery.
