Floyd "Wayne" Watts

Floyd “Wayne” Watts, age 72 of Laurinburg passed away Friday, November 15, 2019.

Wayne was born June 5, 1947 in Robeson County, a son of the late Floyd Watts and Eloise Taylor Watts. He retired from Railroad Friction working many years in Research and Development. His favorite pastimes were traveling to the Outer Banks, surf fishing and enjoyed all sports. Wayne loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces, nephews and his puppy “Jeep”.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Watts.

Wayne leaves behind his brothers, Terry Watts of Laurinburg, Richard Watts (Mary Bell) of Hamlet; nephews, Richie Watts, Jr. (Katlyn) of Dover, Delaware, Tyler Watts of Hamlet; nieces, Emma Watts of Hamlet and Buffy Lowery (Matt) of Wagram, along with many loving family and friends.   

Funeral arrangements will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ronnie Norton. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

A time of visitation will be prior to the service on Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
