Floyd Eugene Beauchamp, Jr., age 70 of Gibson passed away April 7, 2019.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2019 at White’s Creek Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Floyd was born July 8, 1948 in Bay City, Michigan, loving son of the late Floyd Eugene Beauchamp, Sr. and Thelma Hopkins Beauchamp. He was a Vietnam War Veteran who proudly served in the United States Army. He worked many years as a carrier for the newspaper and auto parts. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an fan of the Detroit Lions Football Team and NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt. He loved his family and spending time with each of them was his greatest joy.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy L. Johnson; granddaughter, Desiree Epps; sisters, Sandra Lauria, Sally Beauchamp and Judy Wetterstorm.
Floyd leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Lucy Ann Locklear Beauchamp of the home; children, Sean Beauchamp (April) and Shirley Epps (Lacy), all of Laurel Hill; grandchildren, Amber Lesley (Paul), Taylor Estridge (Chris), Mikey Johnson, Josh Epps and five great grandchildren; half sisters, Cheryl Martinez, Debby Raymond and half brother, Bruce Raymond all of Bay City, MI; brother in law, Roland Lauria; nieces, Deb Lauria, Kim Cousineau, Ronda Strzelecki, Bridgett Husted, along with many loving friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
