Danny Ray Cooper

Mr. Danny Ray Cooper, age 36 of Laurinburg, North Carolina was born October 18, 1982 to his parents, Danny Cooper and Vivian Radford Cooper. He departed this life on Friday, September 27, 2019. 

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday;  October 2, 2019 at Little Mission Holiness Church officiated by Rev. Ellis Cooper.  Burial will follow the service in the Little Mission Church Cemetery.

Danny Ray was a true at heart race car driver for many years.  He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many friends and loved ones.  He enjoyed drag racing, watching the Carolina Tarheels, and spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Vivian Cooper of the home and his dad, Danny Cooper (Flora) of Pembroke; one sister, Carolyn Brewer (William) of St. Pauls; two brothers, Ronnie Chavis, Jr., (Ericka) of Pembroke, Gregory Allen Cooper (Taylor) of Wagram;  special nieces, Serena Brewer of Saint Pauls, Hunter Rich of Pembroke, Alyssa Rozier of Maxton, Myra Cooper, Destiny Cooper and Lilly Cooper all of Red Springs; special nephews, Jacob Brewer of Saint Pauls,  Seth Chavis of Maxton, Dakota Holland of Laurinburg, and Keith Cooper of Red Springs.   He also leaves behind his special East Coast Racing Family which includes, The Grim Reaper Racing Team, Linc and April Brooks Racing Team with Kiyah Brooks, Terminator & Venom Racing Team, Pop Taylor and Ronnie Anderson, and special pit crew member, Rodney Gale; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
