Cynthia Marie Gore Locklear

Cynthia Marie Gore Locklear, age 60 of Laurinburg passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019.

Funeral services will at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Crossway Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Nathan Locklear. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Cynthia was born April 6, 1959 in Scotland County, daughter of Patricia Strickland Gore and the late Jerry Gore and the loving wife of Charlie Vance Locklear, Jr. She worked many years for Perdue Incorporated and served as a member of Crossway Baptist Church. She loved traveling to the beach, fishing and especially loved to shop during the holidays for her grandchildren. Cynthia's greatest joy was sharing time with family, especially her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend.

Along with her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Wayne Gore.

Cynthia leaves behind her husband, Charlie Vance Locklear, Jr. of the home; sons, Ronald Christopher Rogers (Chelsea Clark) of Laurinburg, Lance Locklear (Darnell) of Pembroke, and daughters, Shirley Locklear (Dale Henderson) of Raeford, Heather Locklear Brown (Jason) of Laurinburg, Kelli Boone of Raeford; her mother, Patricia Gore of Laurel Hill; a brother, William “Tony” Gore of Laurel Hill; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of loving family and friends.

A time of visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

Memorial donations may be given in Cynthia's memory to the Crossway Baptist Church.
