Teresa Emanuel Harris

Teresa Lynn Emanuel Harris, age 60, entered her Heavenly home on April 20, 2024. Teresa was born in Dillon, South Carolina on October 24, 1963 to Carl Emanuel and Lillian Chavis.

Anyone who knew Teresa knew of her amazing voice and her gift of singing and playing the piano for her Lord and Savior. She also loved working in her flowers and what an amazing green thumb she had! She came from a large family of nine brothers and sisters and some of her happiest times were hosting large family gatherings. There was nothing better to all of the children in the family than going to “Aunt ReRe’s” house and how greatly missed she will be.

She is now reunited with her son, Justin Harris; her grandsons, Dalton and Dacota Harris; and her sister, Julie Miller.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 42 years, Christopher Harris of the home; son, Blake Harris (Melissa) and daughter, Lyndsey Harris; parents, Carl Emanuel (Dorothy), and Lillian Chavis; brothers, Davey Emanuel (Jacque), Kenny Emanuel (Tracy), John Emanuel (Kimberly), Elbert Williams (Lisa), Scottie Williams (Sandy); sisters, Debbie Bixby (Mike), Judy Coward (Bill); grandchildren, Brynleigh Harris, Bladen Harris, Lakelyn Harris, La’niya Brayboy; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Gray Pond Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at Gray Pond Baptist Church with burial following in the Harris Family Cemetery.
