Kathleen Theresa Lovett

Kathleen Theresa Lovett, age 59 of Laurinburg, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late John Paul Lovett and the late Dolores Jacobs Lovett, born June 13, 1964 in Huntington, New York. Kathleen loved her career helping children as a Speech Language Pathologist working with the Scotland County School System. She also enjoyed shopping, watching movies, and taking care of her dogs. Kathleen especially enjoyed sharing her time with family and friends making precious memories. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by nephew, Matthew Pion.

Left to rejoice in her memory are brothers, John “Jack” Lovett (Deborah) of Long Island, NY, Daniel Lovett of Apex; and sisters, Eileen Pion (Marc) of Cary; adored nieces and nephews, Scott Pion (Sonya), Kevin Pion, John Lovett, Michael Lovett, and Erin Lovett; her special friend, J.D. Dunford, along with extended family and many friends.

A celebration of life memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.

The family will have a time of visitation following the service.

Memorial donations are quested to be given to the Autism Society of North Carolina (Creative Living Program) in memory of Matthew Pion, or the Scotland County Humane Society, 1401 West Blvd, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
