Alan Thad Brigman

Alan Thad Brigman, age 73 of Laurinburg passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020.

Alan was born November 11, 1946 in Scotland County, son of the late James Brigman and Myra Joy Cooper Brigman.  He loved music and earned his music degree from Pembroke State University. After 42 years of service, Alan retired from Mohawk Industries.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by brothers, Christopher Anthony Brigman and Michael Dean Brigman.

Alan leaves behind his brother, James Richard Brigman (Martha) of Pittsboro and sister, Deana Brigman of Laurinburg; step-mother, Margaret Brigman of Laurinburg; cousin, Al Cooper of Laurinburg and his nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
