Blanche Ola Brock Tyner July 26, 2010

Blanche Ola Brock Tyner of Laurel Hill passed away on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the age of 71.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Laurel Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Don Malpass. Burial will follow the service at Hillside Memorial Park.

Blanche was born October 3, 1938 in Scotland County, daughter of the late Richard and Vera Weatherly Brock. She was a supervisor with WestPoint Stevens, Incorporated retiring after many years of dedicated service. She served as a faithful member of the Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Blanche will be remembered as a precious and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Dunn and Rosa Sanderson.

Mrs. Tyner is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Bill Tyner;
her sons, Randall “Randy” L. Tyner and wife Marisa of Chicago, IL,
Russell “Rusty” Tyner and wife Kimberly of Laurel Hill, Ronald “Ronnie” E. Tyner and wife Lanette of Sweden, KY; a brother, Earl Brock and wife Suzzane of Laurel Hill; her sisters, Ercel Quick and husband D.B. Quick of Laurinburg, Marian Shiver of Jacksonville, and Zelma Quick and husband Richard Quick of Hamlet; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28th at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
