Joel Smith July 22, 2010

Joel Edward Smith, age 51 of Wagram, passed away on July 22, 2010.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel.

Mr. Smith was born August 12, 1958 in Columbus County, Georgia, son of the late William Erwin Smith and Sara Frances Smith. He served our country proudly in the United States Navy retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. He also worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator. Joel was the current owner and operator of the Pinelake RV Park in Wagram.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Safley Smith of the home; his children, Robert Leftwich of San Diego, CA, Joel Smith and Ben Smith both of Salinas, CA; brother, Skip Smith and wife Lori of Morgan Hill, CA and sister, Katie Nellie and husband Pete of Salinas, CA.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Richard Boles Funeral Service
