Mrs. Carolyn Brower White, 65, died Monday, July 12, 2010 at CenturyCare in Laurinburg.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 6p.m. at the Richard Boles Funeral Home Chapel With Rev Opie Swails and Rev. Joel Quick officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later date.

Carolyn was a native of Guilford County. She attended Windy Hill Baptist Church. She and her husband, Norman have shared 37 years of marriage. They loved spending time with family and friends and fishing together at the coast. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

In addition to her husband Norman, she is survived by 4 sons, Charles White of Laurinburg, Terry Holbrook of Harkers Island, N.C., Leon Holbrook of Florence, S.C. and Kelly Holbrook of Latta, S.C., One Daughter, Sherice Owens of Maxton, N.C. and 9 grandchildren.
